Digital X-rays and 3D imaging
We use state-of-the-art 3D imaging for accurate diagnosis and precise treatment planning.
In order to accurately determine the condition of your oral health, we will take full digital X-rays. Our digital X-rays emit 80 percent less radiation than traditional X-rays, and produce high-resolution images that are available in seconds.
Most patients will also receive a 3D scan from our state-of-the-art cone beam dental 3D scanner. It produces crisp 360-degree views the entire jaw and mouth area. These images can be viewed from any angle and magnified as needed, allowing the doctor to see the exact bone volume in your jaw, the presence of infections, the state of your wisdom teeth and other details not available from any other type of X-ray.
Oral cancer screening
The Identafi® oral cancer screening system uses special lightwaves to show up any abnormalities in oral tissues.
We use the Identafi® oral cancer screening system to screen for any abnormalities in the soft tissues of your mouth. The handheld Identafi device uses three different colors of light that reveal tissue irregularities not visible to the naked eye. The doctor can closely inspect any abnormality found and determine if it shows signs of serious disease or oral cancer.
Comprehensive examination of your teeth and gums
The doctor will perform a thorough, comprehensive examination of your teeth to detect any issues and provide you with an accurate treatment plan. We will gently check around each tooth with a small probe to look for signs of gum disease.

The doctor will show you your X-rays and go over the condition of your oral health in detail.

Gum disease is the number one cause of adult tooth loss in the United States. To prevent gum disease and help you keep your teeth for the rest of your life, regular professional teeth cleanings and proper home oral care are vital.
Our hygienists are friendly and very well trained. They will gently and meticulously clean your teeth and provide you with home oral care instructions so that you are able to keep your oral health in optimum condition between visits.
Comfortable ultrasonic scalers
We use ultrasonic scalers to provide thorough yet gentle, comfortable cleanings.
We use ultrasonic scalers to gently and effectively remove accumulated bacterial deposits. Ultrasonic scalers use high-frequency vibrations to dislodge and clean away these hard deposits. The vibrations also shatter the cell membranes of the bacteria, destroying them.
Ultrasonic scalers clean deeper than conventional scaling instruments. They are gentler on the teeth and more comfortable for patients.
Advanced dental jet spray to remove deep stains
We use an advanced dental jet spray device for final fine cleaning of your teeth. This instrument shoots a high-pressure stream of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) and other elements to remove extremely tough stains, such as from coffee or tobacco. It also cleans out small crevices that no other instrument can access.
Home oral care education
We make time in your appointments to provide you with detailed home oral care education so you know what to do to maintain your oral health at home. We use videos to show you the most effective oral care techniques. Your hygienist will demonstrate how to properly brush and floss, answering any questions you may have.
